Officer Raymond Minst

The Altus Police Department has two Community Relations Officers. They are Master Officer Raymond Minst (pictured above), and Officer Tony Lee. The officers assigned to this division conduct school visits and attend community functions on a per request basis. They teach a variety of safety programs such as Beware of Strangers, Eddie Eagle Gun Safety, Gang Violence Prevention, Bicycle Safety, Domestic Violence Awareness, and Drug Prevention & Avoidance to name a few. Both officers are CLEET certified instructors. In addition Master Officer Minst is responsible for preparing the weekly Crime Stoppers Report, conducting Departmental tours, speaking at the bi-weekly New comers Welcome for Altus Air Force Base Personnel, and attending meetings or functions directed by the Chief of Police. The Community Relations Division not only serves the local community but offers programs and support state wide when requested to do so.
